In Memoriam

Barbara Johnson, SIOR attended Northern Illinois University where she was part of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and earned her Doctorate in Education in 1980. Following graduation, she co-authored two textbooks while working as a professor at National Louis University and the University of Utah where she was able to share her passion for teaching early childhood education of reading and writing. In 2000, Barbara made a career change to commercial real estate, where she worked for Colliers, NAI Utah and CBRE. She was proud of her ability to advocate for her clients while still maintaining a solid relationship with property owners. Barbara was an active member in CREW, SIOR, CCIM and other industry groups.
